WELCOME! Here is my not-terribly-eloquent attempt to grow closer to God via... blogging. Unfortunately for you, I'm not sure what that means either. I guess we'll find out!

I'm 30 years old, married to an IT Guy and a stay-at-home-mom to two spectacularly gorgeous children. While we attend Mass on Sunday mornings, I spend the entirety of the Eucharistic Prayer focused on making sure the baby uses her crayons on the bulletin, not the pew

You can read more about me at Mighty Maggie and more about my Catholic and not-so-Catholic background on the Official About Page. Thanks for visiting!

This is amazing. I want you to know I read every word and am in awe of anyone who speaks in tongues, so you know the next part isn't flippant.

But heck yeah to military bases in Germany. I was on one a week and a half ago! My sister-in-law is in the military wives church group and I'm amazed at anyone who lives that life.

Please keep writing. I want to keep reading....which is funny for an ex-Catholic-converted-to-Judaism, but I really, truly do.

Fascinating stuff, Maggie. Please do keep sharing it. I think we all learn from you. I think you're teaching and ministering here, while you probably think you're just working out your own stuff. ;) I could never speak in tongues (btw, How? Where? In Silence or out loud? What does it feel like?), don't want to, am kinda freaked out by it since the only time I ever heard it, I was really too young to understand.... but your yearning for God in every manifestation is so intriguing to me, something I want to think about and pray about. Do I yearn for God?? Or do I just yearn to get to heaven and "get an A" in goodness? Is that the same thing? (No.) How can I get there? It's good stuff, here. Keep on, please and thank you.
