WELCOME! Here is my not-terribly-eloquent attempt to grow closer to God via... blogging. Unfortunately for you, I'm not sure what that means either. I guess we'll find out!

I'm 30 years old, married to an IT Guy and a stay-at-home-mom to two spectacularly gorgeous children. While we attend Mass on Sunday mornings, I spend the entirety of the Eucharistic Prayer focused on making sure the baby uses her crayons on the bulletin, not the pew

I struggle with this a lot. I've had these amazing MOMENTS where I feel so confidant that I'm going to the right way, totally assured in my belief, nascent as it is. But most of the time, it's just average. Or I'm nitpicking.

I'm entering the Church officially at Easter, and I just found out my parents are going to be visiting that weekend. Now I'm super worried that whatever chance that moment had of being transcendental just vanished on down to near zero, and also does baptism even WORK if one is actively thinking negative or unkind thoughts WHILE it's happening? AIEEEEE etc.
