WELCOME! Here is my not-terribly-eloquent attempt to grow closer to God via... blogging. Unfortunately for you, I'm not sure what that means either. I guess we'll find out!

I'm 30 years old, married to an IT Guy and a stay-at-home-mom to two spectacularly gorgeous children. While we attend Mass on Sunday mornings, I spend the entirety of the Eucharistic Prayer focused on making sure the baby uses her crayons on the bulletin, not the pew

You can read more about me at Mighty Maggie and more about my Catholic and not-so-Catholic background on the Official About Page. Thanks for visiting!

If it makes you feel any better, I WAS asked to be a bible study leader in my NDCF, but then didn't do it because I only wanted to do it with one of my best friends, and we were assigned to partner with different people. That sounds so awful, but where I was at that point in my life, I didn't feel particularly comfortable having anyone but a very close friend as a partner in an undertaking like that. I guess I wasn't really wanting to open up that much of myself to someone I wasn't close to. It was probably horrible and awful and not Christian-like at all, but I just couldn't do it. So I guess there's stress on the other side, as well ;-)

You should write a book about praying--win, win! Two birds, one stone.

I'm so excited that such a ministry exists at your new church! What a great validation for changing churches. :) And I absolutely think God has some big plans for you... it's going to be fun to watch it unfold, for you and for all of us reading your blog(s) too!

I want to pray with you!!

Me too, Maggie!! I am not quite so far along, but I am definitely feeling called to prayer more and more.

Sometimes I wonder about you - did you always believe in God? How did he make himself known to you? What's your story? Just in case you are interested in writing it, write it here!
