WELCOME! Here is my not-terribly-eloquent attempt to grow closer to God via... blogging. Unfortunately for you, I'm not sure what that means either. I guess we'll find out!

I'm 30 years old, married to an IT Guy and a stay-at-home-mom to two spectacularly gorgeous children. While we attend Mass on Sunday mornings, I spend the entirety of the Eucharistic Prayer focused on making sure the baby uses her crayons on the bulletin, not the pew

See now I'd love to jump out of the computer and sit on the couch and praise God with you! (Though I do have a cold just now, so perhaps we ought to try it next week...) I love when I have those moments - when I let go and really feel deep in my soul that God is there and He is all I need. I wish I were better able to hang onto those moments. Seems I'm much too good at grabbing back at the reins and getting stuck inside my head. Perhaps that is why we want so much to have a friend to rejoice with - to keep us there, in that good space, as long as possible. Blessings Maggie!

Love this one.
