WELCOME! Here is my not-terribly-eloquent attempt to grow closer to God via... blogging. Unfortunately for you, I'm not sure what that means either. I guess we'll find out!

I'm 30 years old, married to an IT Guy and a stay-at-home-mom to two spectacularly gorgeous children. While we attend Mass on Sunday mornings, I spend the entirety of the Eucharistic Prayer focused on making sure the baby uses her crayons on the bulletin, not the pew

You can read more about me at Mighty Maggie and more about my Catholic and not-so-Catholic background on the Official About Page. Thanks for visiting!

Life of a Doctor's Wife

This made the submission issue so much more CLEAR. And it was really a beautiful post.

I especially loved this bit: "Marriage is not about compromise. It's about both people giving all that they have. And that's what I think submission is."

OH YES. That makes so much sense!

The Sojourner

I love every word of this post. And you know what? I have a BA in theology from a VERY conservative university, I've never taken a women's studies class, and I don't get this any better than you do. I just live it. (Insofar as I can, not being actually married yet.) It's something that can only be understood fully in the context of a relationship, I think.
