WELCOME! Here is my not-terribly-eloquent attempt to grow closer to God via... blogging. Unfortunately for you, I'm not sure what that means either. I guess we'll find out!

I'm 30 years old, married to an IT Guy and a stay-at-home-mom to two spectacularly gorgeous children. While we attend Mass on Sunday mornings, I spend the entirety of the Eucharistic Prayer focused on making sure the baby uses her crayons on the bulletin, not the pew

You can read more about me at Mighty Maggie and more about my Catholic and not-so-Catholic background on the Official About Page. Thanks for visiting!

What this made me wonder was if you can get so much from something when you are in dire straights, maybe participating in this "not counseling" when you are already ahead of the game is going to mean you come out even farther ahead. Like, think the places you could go because you're not starting at a deficit! Does that make any sense?

I'm intrigued. My sister was married in your geographical area in a Catholic church, by a woman priest-ish(?) lady. She was official... I guess. Wait, no, there was an actual priest there, too, I just remembered. But this lady was definitely more than an acolyte. She gave the homily. I wonder if it's the same person? My sis loved her for pre-marriage counseling.

I hope it goes well and I'm sure you'll think of something to discuss.
