About Hot by Thirty

  • Desperate not to spend another summer hiding out in fat and/or maternity clothes, I'm determined to drop thirty pounds of baby weight by my thirtieth birthday- July 18, 2009. How unfortunate, then, that I prefer to spend nap time in front of my television with a vat of ice cream. But I've lost these same thirty pounds twice before and I can do it again. I shall do this by steering clear of white flour and sugar and moving my stumpy legs as fast as they will go on our new treadmill. In front of the television, of course. I got my first pair of spandex for Christmas and haven't looked back. Also I am doing Shred right this second, so that then I can chill out and read Dr Mama for a while and feel like one of the cool kids. Thnks for the link/motivation. Also, WOW Elizabeth rocks.

I had to laugh at your "update the uniform" comment. I am definitely in favor of comfort over fashion & have been known to wear pajama pants to the grocery store.

Sigh. Now that I'm 28 I guess I need to start being more of a grown up, huh?

Jess

I've heard that Lululemon pants are great but I doubt I fit into them. Which is probably a blessing in disguise given how much they cost.

Elsha

I love Target workout pants! I have two pairs that I've had since I confiscated them from my sisters way back in high school. The fact that they're still in great shape MIGHT indicate that I need to work out more often...

Elizabeth

Yes, the Lululemons are insanely awesome.
There's an outlet somewhere on the way between Portland and Canada, so let me know if you are ever headed in that direction...
and thank god I got those jelly beans out of my house.

You found petite yoga pants? My Target SUCKS.

I bought some Target cropped yoga pants recently too! And I lurvh them insanely. I want to put them on the MINUTE I get home every day. :) Hee!

Couldn't find any cute workout tops, though. So I'm still in really unfashionable college t-shirts. Bleh. (HA, I say that as if I'm working out regularly. Ahem.)
