This website about nothing in particular is owned and maintained by me, Maggie, for purely self-indulgent reasons, but also because I was bored at work. It was originally set up to document a three week trip to China in 2004, but that was a flimsy cover for wanting to rant about whatever directive of the universe was messing with my life that day. I was REALLY bored at work in 2004. But my new job is to keep a miniature human being alive and I'm realizing this line of work doesn't provide half the opportunities to blog as my old one. On the other hand, it is a way better job, even when you consider the diapers.
CAST OF CHARACTERS
Me: The oldest. Contains 9 out of 10 Highly Anxious Personality Traits. Loves wine. Really loves television. IT widow. Used to live in Italy. Will never leave Seattle. Has not taken a math class since eleventh grade. Infinitely prefers drool and diapers to 40 hours in the office. Hates the telephone. Has spent entire days freaking out about the nap schedule.
Phillip: aka The Devastatingly Handsome Chinese Man. Network administrator. Revolting work ethic. Not sure how to put socks in the hamper. Composed entirely of Lays potato chips. In charge of the bedtime routine. Fantastic dad. Built my beloved TiFaux.
